First steps
You start as a novice gladiator in Hispania. A typical day looks like this:
- Spend expedition points on fights against enemies – they give gold, experience, items and materials.
- From level 8, spend Dungeon points (first dungeon: Crypt of the Forgotten) and fight in the Team Arena.
- Use the gold you win to train your stats, and equip your loot or sell it to the merchant.
- Finally, go to Work – your character earns gold while you're away.
Stats and training
| Stat | What it gives |
| Strength | More damage and a higher chance to block. |
| Dexterity | Higher chance to hit and to land a critical hit. |
| Agility | Opponents hit you less often and land fewer critical or double hits. |
| Constitution | More health and faster regeneration. |
| Charisma | Higher chance of a double strike. |
| Intelligence | Protection against the opponent's double strike. |
You raise your stats in the Training Camp for gold. Each additional point costs more. You can train a stat up to your character level × 5.5 (up to level 20 the limit is 100). Items can push a stat beyond that, but at most to the trained value × 2.5 + character level – the more you train, the more your items give.
“Agility +10” and “Agility +23%” on an item are two separate bonuses: the points are added first, then the percentage is calculated from the result.
Expeditions and dungeons
- Points. Each fight costs 1 point. You have 15 for expeditions and 15 for dungeons, and one point regenerates every 15 minutes (every 8 minutes with VIP). Every level-up refills all points. After a fight you need to rest for a moment.
- Opponents. On expeditions you can attack any enemy in an unlocked area. In dungeons – at most 8 levels stronger than you. The last enemy in every area is a boss – a defeated dungeon boss always drops an item.
- Chance of victory. On expeditions, in dungeons, in the Cave and in the Ruins you can see your estimated chance of winning next to each enemy – calculated with your current health and equipment. If it's low, buy better gear in the Shop or train first.
- Countries. Hispania, Greece and Egypt each have their own areas. To travel between countries, sail with the Ferryman.
- Zdrowie. On expeditions you lose health. It regenerates over time, and faster after food or a potion. In dungeons you fight alongside your soldiers and your health doesn't change.
- Level up – reaching the next level fully heals your character.
Cave
- From level 20 you can descend into the depths of the Cave: 300 floors in 30 zones, with one monster on each. The Cave has its own points (15, +1 every 15 minutes) and the same rest after a fight as Expeditions, and you lose health just like on expeditions.
- A defeated monster opens the way one floor down – progress is permanent. On the map you only see floors you've already reached.
- Every 10 floors a boss awaits. You beat each boss only once and always get an item with a random prefix or suffix for it: 60% chance of purple, 30% of orange and 10% of red.
- You can return to any discovered floor (by clicking it on the map, with the buttons or by typing its number) and fight the regular monster there again. A win gives gold, experience and loot, but doesn't take you deeper. The discovered map stays.
Ruins and World Boss
- Ruins (from level 50) are a ladder of ever stronger opponents. You fight alone and lose health just like on an expedition. The Ruins have their own points (15, +1 every 15 minutes) and the same rest after a fight as Expeditions.
- Every 10 stages a Guardian of the Ruins awaits, and every 100 a Lord of the Ruins. You beat each of them only once and always get an item with a random prefix or suffix for it: 60% chance of purple, 30% of orange and 10% of red. You can go back to earlier stages and fight the regular opponents there again, without moving forward.
Gdy boss ucieknie, kolejka wraca do Cyklopa. Walka z bossem nie odbiera życia.
Arena and Team Arena
- In the Arena you fight other players. You can challenge players above you on your league's ladder (a win swaps your places) or attack any player from the ranking. An attack from the ranking doesn't change places – with one exception: if you're 2nd on the ladder and beat your league's champion, you become champion even if you attacked them from the ranking.
- A winning attacker takes 4 to 12% of the gold the loser is carrying and gains some experience. A single attack can take at most a limit based on the attacker's level: level × 1000 gold × a factor rising from 0.75 (level 1) to 1.8 (level 150 and up) – e.g. level 10 about 8,100 gold, level 50 about 54,700 gold, level 100 about 144,800 gold. Juno's favor “Treasurer's Shield” reduces this loss by 20%.
- You can't take gold from a player who is 10 or more levels below the attacker – neither in the Arena nor in the Team Arena. The fight and experience count as usual.
- You can attack the same player at most 5 times a day (separately in the Arena and the Team Arena), and after each attack they're protected for a dozen or so minutes (randomly 12–17) – this applies both to ladder challenges and to attacks from the ranking. Exception: attacks during a guild war give no protection.
- Each day you can fight up to 300 battles in the Arena and up to 300 in the Team Arena.
- The Team Arena (from level 8) pits your team – you and your soldiers – against another player's team. You don't lose health there.
- In the Team Arena everyone attacks the opponent's main character first. Only once it falls do they hit his soldiers at random.
- Gold you carry can be lost. Spend it before logging out, e.g. on training. A deposit into the guild Treasury is non-refundable – the gold then belongs to the guild.
Items and quality
- Your character wears a weapon, shield, helmet, breastplate, gloves, boots, belt, cape and amulet.
- An item's name has three parts: a prefix, a base and a suffix, e.g. “Thorgan Eagle Shield of Subtlety”. The prefix and suffix give stat bonuses.
- Item level is the sum of the base, prefix and suffix levels. The Shop shows items from 4 levels below to 9 levels above yours. Auctions list items for the levels of active players: from 10 levels below to 10–20 above (the higher the level, the wider; from level 110 up to 20 above).
- Shop stock changes every 6 hours (or sooner if you refresh the shop for diamonds) and matches the level you had at the time of the refresh. Leveling up doesn't change the stock – your new level counts from the next refresh.
- Quality has five tiers: common, blue, purple, orange and red. The higher it is, the stronger the damage, armor and bonuses – and the higher the price.
- Loot from fights goes to Packages and waits there until you collect it – packages never expire.
Scrolls, Forge and materials
- Scrolls drop very rarely. A scroll permanently teaches you one prefix or suffix. A scroll you don't need can be sold – each copy has its own value.
- Forge lets you forge an item with a prefix and suffix you've learned. It takes gold and materials: basic ones for the base itself, plus those from the recipe of the chosen scrolls.
- Quality of the forged item depends on the quality of the materials. You choose the highest quality the smith should use; whatever is missing, he takes from lower ones. The chance of a given item quality equals the share of materials of that quality.
- The higher the item's level compared to yours, the lower the chance, that the forging succeeds.
- Blacksmith's aids (VIP Account › Shop) are dragged from your backpack onto the forge and are used up in one forging: the Blacksmith's Flux reduces the number of materials needed by 25%, and the Master Blacksmith's Seal gives +25% chance of one quality grade higher (adds up with the bribe for the blacksmith). If the forging fails, the aids are lost.
- Materials drop on expeditions and in dungeons. Which ones depends on the level of the defeated enemy – for materials for low scrolls you have to go back to weaker enemies.
- Blast Furnace melts down unneeded items and always gives back materials: a random 30–60% of each material from the recipe of their scrolls, and for an item without scrolls – 30–60% of the materials needed to forge it. 5–20% of the materials come out one quality worse or better, and an item with a prefix or suffix has a 5% chance to give the scroll of that trait. Needs coal. The furnace holds 10 coal; for gold it can be enlarged by 1 at a time, up to 30.
- Material Storage stores materials without taking up backpack space. Six pieces of one quality can be refined into one piece of a better quality; the two highest tiers also cost diamonds.
Gold, work and trade
- You earn gold from fights, from selling loot, from Work and from the Arena.
- At Work you choose a shift (1, 4, 8 or 24 hours). You can't fight during it.
- You can sell items to merchants or to other players at the Bazaar.
- In Auctions you bid on items put up by the game. Note: if someone outbids you, your bid is lost – the gold doesn't come back. If someone outbid you a moment earlier and your bid never went through, you keep the gold.
- Quests give extra rewards for regular play.
Guild
- You can found a guild for gold or join an existing one.
- Members pay gold into the Treasury, which funds building upgrades. The most important: the Trophy Hall (more experience from expeditions, dungeons, the Ruins, the Cave and the World Boss) and the Training Ground (cheaper training).
- A guild has its own storehouse, bazaar, infirmary and chat, and guilds can declare war on each other. During a battle the treasury is frozen (buildings can't be upgraded and the guild can't be disbanded) until the result is in. Guilds have no protection – any guild can be attacked at any time, even right after a war. A guild that declared a war can declare the next one only 6 hours after it ends.
- The founder can hand the guild over to any member (Quarters → “Hand over guild”) – the founder then gets the Admin rank. An Admin has all of the founder's permissions except disbanding the guild, handing it over and kicking the founder. As long as there are other members in the guild, the founder can't simply leave it.
Horse
From level 1 you can buy a horse at the Stable and upgrade its traits with gold. The horse doesn't fight, but it shortens your rest after fights, speeds up point regeneration, increases gold from fights, gives a chance at an extra item from a fight and shortens shifts at Work.
Diamonds, VIP Account and Favor of the Gods
- Diamonds are a bonus currency. You get some from achievements and in the game; the rest can be bought.
- VIP Account doubles the expedition and dungeon point limit, doubles their regeneration speed, halves your rest after a fight and gives you an extra free spin of the Wheel of Fortune.
- Favor of the Gods are temporary bonuses (e.g. more experience, more gold, cheaper training). You can have four at once.
- War Horn lets you attack right away on an expedition, in a dungeon, in the Cave or in the Ruins, without waiting for your rest to end.
Account and security
- One person may have one account. Multi-accounts, bots and exploiting bugs lead to a ban – details in the Terms of Service.
- Playing from one household or computer? Report it in Settings → Multi-account. Such accounts can't buy from each other or attack each other in the Arena.
- Never give your password to anyone. The game team will never ask for it.
- You can block an annoying player from their profile. The block works both ways: they can't write to you, and you can't write to them (until you unblock them).
- Found a bug? Report it instead of exploiting it – the form is below.
- Want to delete your account or find out what data we store? See Privacy Policy.
